Here you will find weighted lap pads and blankets to help you or those around you find extra comfort in your day.  We have fabrics you can choose from in stock and you also have the option to choose your own fabric if you prefer.  

Weighted blankets and lap pads benefit many people including those with autism, sensory processing disorder, ADHD, RLS, sleep issues and anxiety.

Personally we have seen a difference in our son who just needs that little bit of extra sensory input to be able to sit and build legos or concentrate on reading or his schoolwork.  Also, I find that I crave the weight of blankets, but I get so warm that I throw them off throughout the night and wake up often.  A weighted blanket can provide the heaviness that helps you sleep without overheating you.

After researching we have discovered that the typical weight recommendation is 10% of body weight plus 1 pound.  Please consult your doctor or occupational therapist for a custom weight recommendation for you. WHAT DOES THE HEART ON YOUR BLANKET SYMBOLIZE?

When we decided to build this business we wanted it to be used for a purpose. Obviously those of you who are buying a blanket will be gaining much needed comfort and calm for yourself or others around you. But we didn't just want to profit ourselves. There are so many important causes around the world, but our heart is burdened by the water crisis.

Clean water is a basic need and everyone around the world has the right to have it. But that is not the case. According to charity: water 800 million people are without clean drinking water.  Women and children walk up to three hours a day to collect disease filled water because they have no other choice.

We can't ignore this so we have decided that for each blanket sold we will donate $5.00 to charity: water.
